Joe Hart Named As ‘John Hart’ On Team Sheet Ahead Of His Torino Debut

Poor Joe Hart isn’t having the best of times at the moment.

Surplus to requirements at Manchester City, the England goalkeeper has been sent out on loan to Serie A side Torino.

After being told that he wasn’t to feature in Pep Guardiola’s plans at the Etihad, Hart’s loan switch has seen him become the first English keeper ever to play in Italy’s top flight.

But the goalie has fallen victim of a slight team sheet blunder ahead of his debut.

In the build-up to their league meeting away to Atalanta, a picture has emerged online showing Hart listed as ‘John Hart’ instead of Joe.

You can see the error in the picture below:

At first glance the mistake does appear to be down to a simple administrative error.

But a quick search on the old reliable Wikipedia could suggest a possible reason for the confusion.

The 29-year-old stopper’s full name, according to his profile, is Charles Joseph John Hart.
