Liam Gallagher Has a Lot of Love For Celtic’s Supporters

Liam Gallagher has paid his respect to Celtic‘s supporters after their Champions League draw with Manchester City.

The former Oasis frontman would have been watching on as his beloved City grabbed a 3-3 draw with the Scottish champions at Parkhead.

And, like many, he was left very impressed by the atmosphere created by the Hoops faithful on the night.

You’ll Never Walk Alone got a special rendition pre-match and it only got louder throughout the game as the fans tried to roar their team on to a famous win.

They were unable to do that, as Celtic three times had their lead cancelled out by goals from City.

But they’ll earn plenty of plaudits for the atmosphere inside Parkhead – including this from Gallagher.

Respect

Noel Gallagher was at the game, but his brother had his say about it on Twitter:

Celtic fans will love reading that from Gallagher – who was a big part of a band loved by many in Glasgow.

Brendan Rodgers’ side got their goals through a Raheem Sterling own goal and a Moussa Dembele double, but could do nothing to stop City pegging them back with strikes from Fernandinho, Raheem Sterling and Nolito.
