Liverpool Fans Seem Delighted at Rumours Loris Karius is Club’s New No.1 Keeper

Loris Karius has reportedly won the battle to be Liverpool‘s new No.1 goalkeeper starting from tomorrow – and Reds fans seem absolutely over the moon about it.

The German under-21 international joined Liverpool during the summer transfer window from Mainz – Jurgen Klopp’s former club – for a fee just shy of £5 million, and he was expected to be understudy to Simon Mignolet for this season at least.

But it appears Mignolet’s propensity to making high-profile errors has counted against him in Klopp’s eyes, with the Liverpool Echo claiming that Karius will start the Premier League match at home to Hull City on Saturday.

Karius looked like he could be a serious challenge to Mignolet during pre-season, but ended up breaking his hand in a friendly with Chelsea in July, and has been injured ever since.

And now he’s back fit, Klopp is wasting no time in throwing him in at the deep end, and he seems to have the backing of the supporters:

There seems to be little doubt between this lot – but who would you start in goals?
