Stan Collymore Hails Celtic Fans For the ‘Best Atmosphere’ in Britain

Stan Collymore has hailed Celtic fans as creators of the best atmosphere in Britain after their performance against Manchester City tonight.

The former English player has always confessed to having a soft spot for the Hoops and regularly tweets his support for them on Twitter.

And he was vocal again tonight during their Champions League group stage clash at Parkhead.

Like everyone else who watched on, he was impressed by the atmosphere created by the Celtic supporters inside Parkhead.

Their You’ll Never Walk Alone before the game was pretty special and it was easy to hear them singing throughout the 3-3 draw.

And after hearing a prolonged period of Celtic signing, Collymore was quick to tweet about the atmosphere and how, in his view, it’s the best in Britain:

That will make Hoops fans happy after a big performance from their players against City in the Champions League.

They lost 7-0 to Barcelona on match day one, but followed that up with a hard-fought 3-3 draw tonight – and could perhaps feel aggrieved that they didn’t manage to hold on for a victory after leading three times in the game.
