A cheeky Celtic fan dialled 999 last night in a bid to report Joey Barton missing after the Old Firm game.
The prankster Hoops supporter called the emergency services after Brendan Rodgers’ side thrashed bitter rivals Rangers 5-1 in the Glasgow derby.
After being diverted to the Police, the joker expressed his concern for the Gers midfielder’s whereabouts during the match, and insisted on making a missing person’s report.
The hilarious hoax caller even pretended to be Barton’s Ibrox team-mate Niko Kranjcar as he made the appeal.
When the operator asked why there was laughter in the background, the caller joked that Light Blues midfielder Andy Halliday was alongside him.
The clip ends as the caller tells cops that Barton was last seen inside Scott Brown’s back pocket.

Barton, 34, became Rangers’ biggest signing of the summer when he joined from Burnley.
Much of the focus around Saturday’s derby match at Parkhead was on the head-to-head midfield battle between Barton and Celts skipper Brown.
Barton had previously stated that he felt Brown wasn’t in the same league of player as him.
But Brown responded after the Champions’ emphatic win by insisting that their dual was “easy” and that it was “men against boys”.
