Video: Celtic Loanee Saidy Janko Scores Cracker And Assists Another For Barnsley

Saidy Janko was just about the only player on Celtic‘s books who enjoyed a decent night on Tuesday, with the right-back scoring a really good goal for Barnsley, before assisting another.

The defender started brightly under Brendan Rodgers at the Hoops, but was swiftly sent on loan for the season to the English Championship club following his performance in the 2-0 away defeat to Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

But the 21-year-old seems to be thriving down south judging by his performance last night.

Barnsley have been on of The Championship’s surprise packages this season, and last night’s thumping 4-0 victory away to Wolves leaves them just a point off the top of the table.

And they were helped in no small part by Janko, who, as you can see from the clip above, terrorised Wolves’ left-hand side (Fast forward to 1:22 for the Swiss player’s contribution).

We have no idea if Janko still has a future at Parkhead or not – but by the looks of things we wouldn’t write him off yet.

What do you make of his performance?
