Kristoffer Ajer scored a stunning 25-yard goal for Norway’s Under 18s against Denmark last week.
The Norwegian youngster has struggled to make an impact on the first team since signing for Celtic in the summer, but he’s still got plenty of time left to do it.
He’s had to settle for friendly appearances or run-outs with the Hoops youth team so being called up for the Norway Under 18 side would has given him the opportunity of some much-needed game time.
Ajer started as they played Denmark away last Friday afternoon and scored both goals in a 2-1 win.
Anyone who was there or watched footage of the game will have been impressed with his first goal – and it seems Ajer himself was also keen on it.
The Celtic player made sure to share a video of the goal on his Twitter account, complete with his own impressed reaction:

What a hit!
Ajer got another goal as the Norwegian youngsters lost to Sweden a few days later so the international break should see him head back to Parkhead in confident mood ahead of Celtic’s clash with Rangers.
But at just 18 it looks like Ajer may have to wait for his chance under Brendan Rodgers.
