Video: Listen to Chris Sutton Absolutely Destroying Derek Johnstone Live on Radio

Chris Sutton and Derek Johnstone were involved in an epic spat live on radio on Friday evening, with the former Celtic striker really going for the jugular.

Sutton was speaking live on Clyde 1’s Super Scoreboard programme, primarily to promote an event he’ll be attending in Glasgow next week, when he decided to take issue with Johnstone, calling him a “Rangers puppet”.

In recent weeks, Sutton has said he thinks the Rangers job is too big for manager Mark Warburton, something Johnstone told him was “utter nonsense”.

But that didn’t stop Sutton from putting his point across in a full-blooded manner, as you can hear in the clip above, going on to label Johnstone a “spineless man”, “a charlatan”, and a “party political broadcaster”.

It was clear to anyone listening that Johnstone was absolutely furious, and he replied by saying: “I’m absolutely disgusted with myself that I’m even talking to you tonight.”

What do you make of the blistering tirade from Sutton? Was he right with what he said, or was he completely out of order?
