Video: Man Utd Fans’ New Pogba Chant Has Dig at Didier Drogba…and Looks a Bit Silly Now

Manchester United fans have a new chant for midfielder Paul Pogba, which bizarrely takes aim at Chelsea legend Didier Drogba – but most will probably wish it hadn’t been sung at Watford today.

After arriving at Old Trafford in the summer to great fanfare as the world’s most expensive player, Pogba has endured something of an underwhelming start to his second stint as a United player, and that continued on Sunday afternoon at Vicarage Road.

The former Juventus man was used in a three-man midfield but couldn’t muster up anything by way of an overall influence on the proceedings, with Watford going onto win 3-1.

But if you listened closely to the travelling supporters, particularly in the first-half, you would’ve heard intermittent renditions of Pogba’s new chant:

Why are they having a go at Drogba?! Did he have any particular beef with United fans during his time in England? Maybe they were just stuck for words that rhymed with ‘Pogba’.

Either way, what do you make of the chant? And will it now be put to bed for some time, given Pog’s recent performances?
