Tottenham fans beware – Mark Wahlberg wants to take one of your key players to Hollywood, after revealing he sees a big future on the silver screen for Dele Alli.
The England international has just signed a new six-year contract at White Hart Lane, committing him to the Premier League club until 2022 at least.
Whilst the Tottenham hierarchy will no doubt want Alli to stick around a bit longer that that, at that point, Alli will be just 26 – and at the perfect age to move out to the States and pursue a career in acting, if he wants to, of course:

Obviously, we think Wahlberg’s tongue was firmly embedded in his cheek when he made those comments, but you never know, eh?
Wahlberg has been in London and Northumberland filming scenes for the new Transformers movie, which probably explains his random visit to the Lane.
What do you make of his comments? Could Alli really make it in Tinseltown? And what other sports stars would be cut out for a career in acting?
