Ryan Mason scored a stunning volley for his first goal since signing for Hull from Tottenham in the summer.
The English midfielder started his career at Tottenham at eight years of age, but ended his spell there after 17 years when he sealed a £13million move to Mike Phelan’s men.
He was out of favour at White Hart Lane and left in search of first team football – and that’s exactly what he’s got with the newly-promoted English Premier League side.
Mason has started Hull’s last two games against Burnley and Arsenal – now he’s marked his third start with his first ever goal for the club.
And it’s a cracker.
Volley
It came in the second half of tonight’s EFL Cup game against Stoke, with Mason meeting a long ball into the box with a sumptuous first time volley into the net:

How good is that?
Hull fans will be hoping Mason can produce more moments of magic like that throughout his career with the club.
Stoke had been leading the game 1-0 thanks to Marko Arnautović’s stunning goal, but Mason’s beauty has the game at 1-1 and heading for extra time.
