France showed absolutely no signs of a hangover in their first match since losing the Euro 2016 final last night, with Manchester United duo Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial combining for a brilliant goal.
No one quite knew how Didier Deschamps’ side would perform away to France in Thursday night’s friendly, with the game coming just seven weeks after their shock defeat to Portugal.
But fans needn’t have worried, with Les Bleus managing to secure an impressive 3-1 victory, thanks mainly to help from English Premier League players.
In face, Martial opened the scoring in the first-half after latching onto a clever through-ball from Pogba and coolly slotting the ball past 17-year-old Italian debutant Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Check out the brilliant precision from Pogba and the weight of his pass:

If that doesn’t get Man Utd fans excited, nothing will.
France were soon dragged level by former Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, but Arsenal’s Oliver Giroud fired the French in front once again, before PSG’s Kurzawa grabbed his first international goal to leave the final score 3-1.
But there is absolutely no doubting the highlight of the night – what a pass and finish, eh?
What do you think of Martial’s goal and Pogba’s assist?
