Zlatan Ibrahimovic Brings His Own Personal Physio Into Man Utd’s Dressing Room

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Brings His Own Personal Physio Into Man Utd’s Dressing Room

Zlatan Ibrahimovic surprised his new Manchester United team-mates when he first arrived at the club after bringing his own personal physio into the Old Trafford dressing room.

That’s according to United youngster Andreas Pereira, anyway.

The Swedish superstar is known for having one of the biggest egos in modern football, and has backed-up his big billing in England so far by scoring four goals in his opening three competitive matches for the Red Devils, following his summer free transfer from PSG.

But Zlatan doesn’t just come with an oversized opinion of himself, he also comes with a pretty big entourage, it turns out.

Speaking in an interview with Brazilian news outlet GloboEsporte, Pereira, who joined Spanish side Granada on a season-long loan deal a fortnight ago, gave an interesting insight into the 34-year-old’s adjustment period to life in the Premier League.

Speaking via the Mirror, he said: “When he arrived, everyone could see that he was a real professional.

“Just by his physical appearance, you can tell he is professional as hell. He just wants to win – he only thinks about football.

“He brought his own physiotherapist with him, to treat him at the club. Everyone was left open-mouthed by that.”

Zlatan’s contribution has seen United win all three of their Premier League matches so far, ahead of Saturday’s showdown with title rivals Manchester City.

His physio will probably be working overtime after that!

What do you make of Pereira’s revelation?
