AC Milan are a force to be reckoned with in Serie A once again, and it appears they have a 17-year-old goalkeeper to partly thank for it.
Despite not being old enough to legally consume alcohol, schoolboy Gigi Donnarumma has made the no.1 spot for the Italian giants his own since breaking into the first-team at the age of 16 last season.
Tipped by pundits and fans to emulate fellow Italian Gigi Buffon, Donnarumma claimed an amazing stat following Milan’s 1-0 victory over Pescaraat San Siro earlier today, after pulling off a series of excellent saves to ensure his side claimed all three points:
Gianluigi Donnarumma (AC Milan's Keeper) has the most clean sheets in Europe's top 5 leagues this season.
He is 17 years old. WOW.

Not David de Gea, Manuel Neuer or the aforementioned Buffon can claim to have gathered as many cleansheets as the teenager in the opening two months of the season – how incredible is that?!
AC Milan are, of course, a footballing superpower in their own right, and with new Chinese investors backing the club.
However, we reckon it’s only a matter of time before the big bucks from the Premier League are offered to Donnarumma – it’ll just be a question of whether to not he can turn them down.
