BBC commentator Ken Brown compared the Ryder Cup atmosphere at Hazeltine at the weekend to Ibrox.
USA are celebrating their first Ryder Cup victory since 2008 after their 17-11 win over Europe in Minnesota.
And they were helped in a big way by the vocal support they received from the home fans from the first tee to the final hole of the tournament.
While some may have seen the US support as being too over the top – including Danny Willett – Brown compared it to the noise you’d hear at Ibrox during a Rangers game.
It was an almost partisan crowd and they made sure to make plenty of noise when one of their players produced the goods on the course:

That’s sure to make Rangers fans happy their Ibrox atmosphere is being compared to one of the best you’ll hear at a golf event.
It was a disappointing weekend for Darren Clarke’s European team as several players failed to live up to their expectations in the defeat to USA.
