The England striker, now 27, seems to have always struggled to see eye-to-eye with current Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, and has seen his opportunities to start Premier League matches restricted this season, with Roberto Firmino preferred in the central striking role.
Moreover, the only goals Sturridge has scored for club or country this season has been his two strikes in the 5-0 EFL Cup win over Burton Albion.
Sturridge was on the bench for Saturday’s 2-1 win at Swansea, and now Skybet reckon Arsenal could be his next destination, with the odds of the forward ending up in north London just 9/1.
Having already played for Chelsea and Manchester City, Sturridge has shown that he isn’t afraid to turn out for Premier League rivals.
