Cesc Fabregas‘ wife has squashed rumours that the Spaniard is edging toward the Stamford Bridge exit and claims the reports that have linked the midfielder with a move to AC Milan, are wide of the mark.
Fabregas has played just 87 minutes of Premier League football this season, with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte appearing to prefer N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic in the heart of his midfield.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona star has denied falling out with his manager or that he’s keen to leave London.
However, with Fabregas struggling to get consistent minutes on the pitch, several media outlets have linked him with a move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
Yet Fabregas’ wife, Daniella Semaan has thrown cold water over the rumours, with a blunt reply to the Chelsea HQ Twitter page:
AC Milan began talks with #Chelsea on Saturday to sign Cesc Fabregas in January, having lost his place under Antonio Conte. [Tuttosport]

Fabregas’ last appearance for the Blues was during their embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Arsenal.
And it looks increasingly unlikely that he will get back into the team, after Chelsea looked much more dominant during their 3-0 demolition of Leicester City at the weekend.
