Lukas Podolski Calls For Bastian Schweinsteiger After Chelsea Smash Manchester United

Lukas Podolski has called for Bastian Schweinsteiger after Chelsea smashed Manchester United this afternoon.

The Old Trafford outfit were thoroughly beaten at Stamford Bridge, going down 4-0 after goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante.

And it’s hard to see any positives if you’re a United fan. All of their top stars disappointed and really struggled to get near an impressive Chelsea side.

But most will be clueless as to what Jose Mourinho needs to do to fix things considering the amount of talent at his disposal.

Well, former Arsenal striker Podolski was obviously watching on as the game unfolded at Stamford Bridge and is in no doubt about what United need – his former international team-mate Schweinsteiger:

Schweinsteiger hasn’t been involved in a squad for Mourinho since he took over at Old Trafford in the summer and was close to being sold before the transfer window.

He is still at United and intends to fight for his place despite being cast off from the first team.

And you have to wonder if Mourinho will do something drastic after suffering his heaviest defeat as United manager.
