Man Utd Fans Organising Plane to Fly Over Old Trafford with ‘Mourinho Out’ Banner

It usually takes at least two seasons before Jose Mourinho enters meltdown mode at a club, but it seems his spell at Manchester United might be already heading towards a nasty divorce.

The Portuguese boss has overseen a pretty turgid start to life as United manager, as evidenced by yesterday’s frustrating 0-0 draw at home to Burnley, which leaves the Red Devils a lousy eighth place in the Premier League.

That, coupled with other embarrassing defeats to the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City have left United supporters restless – and one fan account on Twitter is even trying to raise money for a plane to fly over Old Trafford with a banner reading ‘Mourinho Out’ attached to the tale.

No, seriously, we’re not joking:

David Moyes received the exact same treatment during his time as manager, and he only lasted nine months.

We have absolutely no idea what to make of this – does Mourinho deserve this already? And who would take over? Or is it even genuine? Could this be a clever ploy by a City or Liverpool fan?
