Mikael Lustig Jokes About Babysitting Celtic Attackers v Ross County

Mikael Lustig had a brilliant response to a funny comment from a Celtic supporter after their win over Ross County last night.

Brendan Rodgers made a number of changes to his team for the trip to the Highlands, with Emilio Izaguirre, Cristian Gamboa, Callum McGregor, Stuart Armstrong, Patrick Roberts, Liam Henderson, Ryan Christie and Leigh Griffiths all coming in.

And the changes paid off, with Celtic beating County 4-0 thanks to goals from Roberts, Armstrong, Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele.

A number of players took to social media afterwards to share their delight after the victory, but Lustig’s was the best.

The Swedish defender was one of a few regulars to stay in the team and the stand-in captain saw the funny side of a fan comment about him babysitting some of the Hoops attacker.

He grabbed the supporter’s response and responded:

Celtic’s victory put them seven points ahead of Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership table after a disappointing midweek for their rivals.

The Dons lost 1-0 to Hamilton on Tuesday before Rangers drew 1-1 with St Johnstone and Hearts lost 2-0 to Kilmarnock last night.

And the result was perfect for Rodgers as he rested several players ahead of a big game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday.
