Video: Cristiano Ronaldo Acts as a Ball Boy During Son’s Football Debut

Cristiano Ronaldo took his focus away from Real Madrid‘s stuttering start to the season at the weekend – to focus on being a ball boy for his son’s football team.

As we all know from various Instagram posts and videos, Ronaldo enjoys an extremely close relationship with his little boy, Cristiano jr.

So it only makes sense that the Portuguese superstar would be on hand to watch the 6-year-old start out on his own journey towards the big-time for his under-8s team.

The youngster lined up for Pozuelo against Carrascal in a seven-a-side game on Friday and to the surprise of the other parents watching, the Real Madrid striker sought to make himself useful by fetching the ball when it went out of play:

You’ll be happy to know that Cristiano jr’s Pozuelo won the game 4-3, but his dad didn’t enjoy much luck a few days later, after¬†failing to find the back of the net as Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by Eibar.
