Arjen Robben’s Reaction to Vincent Janssen and Simon Mignolet Collision is Priceless

Vincent Janssen was absolutely clobbered by Belgium goalkeeper Simon Mignolet on Wednesday night, and Janssen’s Dutch teammate Arjen Robben definitely felt it on the sidelines.

The game itself ended 1-1 draw after Davy Klaasen’s penalty was cancelled by a strike from Yannick Carrasco.

However, it will be the injury to Janssen that will have Holland’s backroom staff worried, as he collided with Liverpool stopper Mignolet after challenging for a long-ball.

Georginio Wijnaldum played a ball up-field, however Janssen came off second best and was left in a heap after making contact with Mignolet.

And Bayern Munich ace Robben had a priceless reaction as he sat on the bench:

Janssen’s injury may also be of concern to Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, as Danny Blind revealed after the game that the Spurs striker couldn’t remember what had happened.

Janssen moved to north London in the summer from Ajax, however the 22-year-old has struggled to score goals consistently this season.
