Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin Left Stunned by Mesut Ozil’s Amazing Winner

Mesut Ozil‘s amazing last-gasp goal against Ludogorets in the Champions League tonight gave Arsenal all three points in Bulgaria – but even some of their own players were left stunned by the quality of Ozil’s finish.

Having been two goals down after just 15 minutes, it looked like the Gunners had managed to somehow foil their chances of progression in Europe once again, after beating the same team 6-0 just two weeks ago in north London.

But strikes from Granit Xhaka and Oliver Giroud made the comeback complete, and with just two minutes of normal time remaining, Ozil sauntered through on goal, rounded the goalkeeper and put two defenders of their backsides:

Genius is definitely not an exaggeration and Ozil seems to be cementing his place as one of the world’s best play-makers at the moment.

Despite his undoubted talent, his team-mate Hector Bellerin, who was rested and left at home for the clash, was still surprised by the sheer brilliance of the goal:

Wow indeed.

How far do you think Arsenal will go in the Champions League this season?
