The Spanish international missed out playing for his country’s under-21 and senior side over the last week after injuring his ankle in the latter moments of the recent 1-1 draw with Spurs, and it looks more serious than first thought.
The 21-year-old has been one of the Gunners’ outstanding performers this season but will now miss this weekend’s clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford, as well as matches against the likes of PSG, Southampton and Everton.
It all means that Carl Jenkinson or Gabriel is likely to deputise but that’s of absolutely no comfort to this lot:

Will Bellerin be missed as much as Arsenal fans are making out? Could this damage the club’s title challenge?
