Borussia Dortmund fans have risked their club potentially suffering serious sanctions at the hands of European football’s governing body by displaying a banner that simply said ‘Fuck UEFA’ tonight.
As you can see in the main image above, the sign was pinned up directly behind the Dortmund’s goal during the first-half of the Champions League tie with Legia Warsaw, and caught the attention of many onlookers on social media:

It’s not the first time Dortmund’s supporters focused their ire on UEFA, after protesting against the idea of a European super league during their Europa League tie with Tottenham last season.
Moreover, the Bundesliga side’s fans got some unexpected help from the travelling Legia crowd, who joined in by simply singing ‘Fuck UEFA’ at various stages of the first-half:

Legia had to play their previous group match against Real Madrid behind closed doors following crowd violence when Dortmund travelled to Poland earlier in the season.
