The footballing world is still reeling from the dreadful news about the plane crash involving the Chapecoense football team, and some Celtic fans are already looking at ways they can practically help out.
A charter plane carrying 81 people – including 22 players from the Brazilian football club travelling to play in the final of the Copa Sudamericana, against Medellin team Atletico Nacional – crashed in Cerro Gordo, Colombia on Tuesday morning.
So far, it has been confirmed that 75 people were killed, whilst six have survived, and the Brazilian football association has suspended this weekend’s fixtures as a mark of respect.
The main concern is obviously the human tragedy involved and the devastating loss of life, however some Celtic supporters are right behind the idea of buying the green Chapecoense club shirts as a way of helping the club to rebuild and get through the tragedy:
@celticfc Can we sell Chapocoense shirts and pass on the money to help the club rebuild? The shirt is very handsome.

It remains to be seen whether or not anything will come of the the suggestion, but it certainly seems to have gone down well with fans on social media – what do you make of the idea?
Would you buy the shirt?
