Video: Adnan Januzaj Picks Marouane Fellaini in His Career Five-a-Side Team

Sunderland winger Adnan Januzaj was asked to pick his ultimate five-a-side team this week, comprised of players had has played alongside for club and country.

And despite having played with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Mousa Dembele and Michael Carrick, Januzaj went for the bizarre inclusion of Marouane Fellaini.

We can only assume the pair have a close bond for the 21-year-old to pick the big-haired Belgian over some of his more experienced and more technically gifted teammates.

Januzaj, who is currently on loan at the Stadium of Light from Manchester United, claimed that Fellaini would be the perfect foil to Paul Pogba as he would be the tackler in the team.

The duo would play alongside Robin Van Persie, Patrice Evra and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois:

It’s hard to argue with the selection of experienced pros like Evra and Van Persie who both played significant roles in bringing silverware to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Courtois has consistently proved he is one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe and Paul Pogba’s price tag alone warrants his place in the team.

But Fellaini?

We aren’t buying it.
