Arsenal qualified for the last-16 of the Champions League on Wednesday night after a 2-2 draw at home to PSG, but it wasn’t such a good night for midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The Welshman, who manager Arsene Wenger revealed has been playing through the pain barrier with a broken toe recently, was involved in a first-half clash with Paris striker Edinson Cavani.

It wasn’t quite clear at first, but upon closer inspection, it seemed the Uruguay striker had aimed something of a meek flick at Ramsey’s face, and whilst Cavani was probably lucky to stay on the pitch, Ramsey’s reaction was a little bit embarrassing:

Obviously, in this day and age football fans miss absolutely nothing, and it wasn’t long before Ramsey was receiving A LOT of stick:

What do you think of the incident? Should the Arsenal man be embarrassed by his actions?
