The Welshman, who manager Arsene Wenger revealed has been playing through the pain barrier with a broken toe recently, was involved in a first-half clash with Paris striker Edinson Cavani.
It wasn’t quite clear at first, but upon closer inspection, it seemed the Uruguay striker had aimed something of a meek flick at Ramsey’s face, and whilst Cavani was probably lucky to stay on the pitch, Ramsey’s reaction was a little bit embarrassing:

Obviously, in this day and age football fans miss absolutely nothing, and it wasn’t long before Ramsey was receiving A LOT of stick:
My problem with Football is that if Aaron Ramsey was a Rugby Player he would've twatted Cavani back rather than holding his face and crying?

Pathetic from both Cavani and Ramsey…
You know the game is literally filmed live? https://t.co/DlQ12xxxM9

Sanchez dived; Ramsey behaved like a baby when Cavani pretended to hit him. Ramsey doesn't know Cavani is a man, a bandit.

How on earth was the Cavani incident a "punch" and worthy of a red? I'd be more ashamed if I was Ramsey. Absurd, laughable reaction.

Ramsey disgracing Arsenal by grabbing his jaw when Cavani pushed the ball out of his hands. Get out of my club pussy @aaronramsey

What do you think of the incident? Should the Arsenal man be embarrassed by his actions?
