Video: Borussia Dortmund Players Take Part in New ‘Mannequin Challenge’ Craze

Borussia Dortmund ran away with a 5-2 victory over Hamburg in the Bundesliga at the weekend, and the players found the perfect way to celebrate, by performing the Mannequin Challenge.

The Mannequin Challenge has taken the world, and in particular social media, by storm over the last few weeks.

The idea is for an individual to whip our their phone and record a scene where everyone in shot is frozen in place.

And the stars of BVB have absolutely smashed it.

Mario Gotze uploaded the video featuring Marco Reus, Shinji Kagawa and Andre Schurrle to his official Facebook account:

Despite their resounding victory over Hamburg, during which Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang found the net four times, Dortmund currently sit in 5th spot in the Bundesliga.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are six points behind leaders Bayern Munich and second placed surprise package RB Leipzig.

Ah well, at least BVB sit top of the mannequin rankings after this effort…
