Striker Rommel Quioto gave Honduras the perfect start after opening the scoring after just 16 minutes, and left-back Izaguirre doubled his side’s advantage just three minutes later by pouncing on a loose ball inside the area:

After looking like he’d leave Celtic for pastures new last summer, Izaguirre is all of a sudden the club’s first-choice left-back once again after Kieran Tierney’s ankle injury.
The 30-year-old put in a solid display in the recent Champions League draw away to Borussia Mönchengladbach and his goal for his country will only heighten his confidence.
