The Spurs midfielder started his side’s home clash with Kazakhstan hoping for a win after the Danish lost to Poland and Montenegro in their most recent qualifiers.
And he got exactly that – with Age Hareide’s team producing a strong performance to win 4-1.
Eriksen was involved heavily throughout the game, hitting Denmark’s second goal of the game before adding their fourth in injury time courtesy of a beautiful run and finish.
Spurs haven’t seen the best of Eriksen this season despite his three assists in 15 games across all competitions.
So they’ll be hoping the playmaker can continue his impressive international form into games with his club:

What a beauty from Eriksen.
Denmark were helped to their win with goals from Andreas Cornelius and Peter Ankersen – and the win puts them up into second in the table behind Poland.
As for Eriksen, some quality goals like this in the English Premier League would do nicely.
