Video: Edwin Van Der Sar Delivers Message and a Lot of Beer to East Kilbride After Breaking Ajax’s Win Record

Edwin van der Sar delivered a well done message and a lot of beer to East Kilbride after the Lowland League side broke Ajax’s winning record today.

The EK outfit had equalled the Dutch giants’ record of 26 consecutive wins last week and wanted to take the achievement all on their own with a victory against BSC Glasgow this afternoon.

And they done it in comfortable fashion, recording a 3-1 home victory thanks to goals from Declan Hughes (2) and Ross McNeil.

Celebrations were always planned for full-time, but the best of the lot came from Ajax as they sent a video message and a lot of beer to East Kilbride’s K-Park home.

Ajax’s marketing director appeared in the video to say well done to the East Kilbride players, with the iPad showing the message sitting on top of more than a few cases of beer:

How good is that? Classy touch from Ajax and van der Sar for a big achievement from the Scottish club.
