Kris Boyd and Chris Sutton clashed over Gordon Strachan’s future as Scotland manager tonight.
The pair appeared on BT Sport’s panel ahead of their coverage of Kilmarnock against Celtic at Rugby Park and both appeared passionate about the Tartan Army gaffer.
Strachan and Scotland are staring at another failed qualifying campaign after taking just four points from their first four games.
The 3-0 defeat to England last week was disappointing and strengthened calls for the former Celtic boss to be sacked.
But the SFA backed Strachan this week and it looks like he’ll continue in his role when the country continue their campaign in March.
Sutton made it clear that he disagrees with that decision when the topic was brought up pre-match – but Boyd battled him on it:
It's getting heated! Kris Boyd and @chris_sutton73 disagree on where Scotland are going wrong. #BTSFE https://t.co/HkqQFIOtUq

We can see both points – while Strachan and Scotland have performed poorly this year, are there players available who are capable of changing things? We’re not so sure.
And it’s good to see someone taking on Sutton in a healthy debate.
What’s your view – do you agree with Sutton or Boyd?
