Video: Shunsuke Nakamura Scores Epic Free-Kicks Past Giant Robot Keeper

Former Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura has proved he’s still one of the world’s truly great free-kick takers – after scoring several inch-perfect efforts past a giant robot goalkeeper.

The 38-year-old former Japan international is ill playing in his homeland’s top-flight for Yokohama Marinos, and despite getting on a bit in age, he’s been proving he still has exactly what it takes to find the top corner from 25 yards.

In what looks a lot like a sort of Takeshi’s Castle-style set-up, Nakamura was asked to some how beat his giant, flapping, inflatable opponent and without much hesitation, he did exactly that.

This clip is sure to leave a lot of Celtic supporters wistful:

Does this brilliant effort give his famous free-kick against Manchester United a run for its money? And could Nakamura still be doing a job in the Scottish Premiership? It certainly looks like it to us!
