Tyron Woodley looks determined not to be drawn into a battle with Conor McGregor.
But it looks like McGregor is beginning to test the welterweight champion’s patience.
Tense Weigh-In Moment
During Friday’s weigh-in ahead of UFC 205 in New York, the pair shared a tense moment which was caught by nearby cameras.
After McGregor had stepped off the scales and began to put his clothes back on, Woodley appeared from behind a curtain and looked to be in search of some refreshments sat behind featherweight champ McGregor.
As the pair crossed paths, an exchange of words prompted Woodley to turn sharply and square up to the Irishman.
However, the situation was defused pretty quickly.

Woodley, who will defend his belt against Stephen Thompson at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, later tweeted to clear up the incident:

What Sparked It
It comes after Thursday’s final press conference ahead of their respective fights when Woodley dismissed McGregor’s claims that he could step up to welterweight to challenge him, saying he’d take “all the belts”.
Woodley mocked McGregor’s attempts to throw a chair at opponent Eddie Alvarez during their bust-up, claiming that McGregor was only acting up because he knew the fight would be broken up by security.
He tweeted saying, “how you act when you know somebody will break it up,” before tagging both McGregor and Alvarez in a video he recorded during the incident.
