Zinedine Zidane’s son currently turns out for the club’s Castilla team and, at 21, will be eyeing a promotion to the top team at some point over the coming year.
Another player who will be expecting to make a dent for Zidane’s squad will be Odegaard, who has been a regular for Castilla since signing for the club from Strømsgodset at the start of last year.
They will have to impress in the club’s reserve team if they’re to make the step up – so assist and goals will certainly help their cause.

That probably wasn’t the assist you’d expect from Zidane’s son, but it was effective as Odegaard got on the scoresheet in a win which takes Castilla up into sixth in the Segunda B table.
