Zlatan Ibrahimovic Responds to Recent Criticism: I Shine 24 Hours a Day

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has blasted those who are critical of his form, claiming he shines 24 hours a day.

The Swede has come under pressure recently, as he struggles to find the net with real consistency in the Premier League.

Before bagging a brace during United’s 3-1 victory over Swansea three weeks ago, Zlatan had gone seven games without a goal; a considerably long spell after netting five in as many games at the start of the campaign.

However, this afternoon, when confronted about his lack of productivity, Ibrahimovic gave a typical Ibrahimovic-like response.

One journalist told the 34-year-old that we aren’t seeing him shine in England like we did when he played in France and Italy, to which Zlatan responded: “I shine 24 hours a day.”

So, he’s not exactly short on confidence then…

Ibrahimovic will have the chance to really shine when he returns from suspension in United’s next game against Feyenoord in the Europa League.
