Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz Bought Teammates Customised Shotguns

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz splashed out on his offensive line this Christmas, buying each of his teammates a personalised shotgun.

According to reports, each gun is inscribed with the players name and shirt number and retails for around $2,000 dollars.

As the old saying goes, take care of your offensive line and they’ll take care of you…

Wentz is a keen outdoors man and hunter, so the rookie QB – who was drafted second in 2016 – is clearly keen to share his favourite pass time with his Eagles colleagues.

Rookie guard Isaac Seumalo told ESPN, “I haven’t really held a gun or anything before. But I’m more than thankful for it. It looks sweet.

Seumalo added, “Carson said he’d teach me how to use it and all that good stuff.”

Allen Barbe is equally excited about his new weapon, “this is an awesome gun. I’m excited about it,”

“I don’t know if I’ll shoot it, though. It’s pretty nice.”

Despite a strong start this season, the Eagles have a losing record of 6-9 and are bottom of the NFC East.

However, Wentz has thrown 564 passes in 15 games this campaign and already holds the franchise record for completions (352).

The future is definitely bright for these Eagles.
