The Hoops found themselves trailing 2-0 at half-time at Fir Park after two excellent finishes by Motherwell striker Louis Moult and it seemed as though Brendan Rodgers’ unbeaten start to life in Scottish football was coming to an end.
However, in a true mark of champions, Celtic came roaring out of the blocks in the second-half and it took them just three minutes to pull a goal back.
McGregor’s clever one-two on the edge of the penalty area was matched by his cool and collected finish:

As we mentioned previously, the midfielder has been something of a whipping boy amongst the Celtic supporters, but his manager obviously sees enough in him to play him most weeks and it’s easily forgotten that he’s still just 23-years-old.
Can he become a serious first-team player for Celtic from now on?
