Video: Celtic Fans Have a Catchy New Song For Scott Sinclair

Scott Sinclair made a winning return to the Celtic starting line-up last night at Parkhead, scoring against Partick Thistle, but the night was made even more sweet for the midfielder when Hoops fans started singing their new song about him.

After suffering ligament damage in the defeat to Barcelona last month, Sinclair was forced to miss several weeks of action and sat out the recent League Cup final win over Aberdeen.

It seems Celtic’s fan base have missed the ex-Manchester City and Aston Villa winger – to the point where they can’t stop singing his name:

In case you’re not entirely sure how it goes, the lyrics seem to be taken from the ‘Logical Song’, which was originally written and recorded by Supertramp, before being covered by dance act Scooter a few years ago.

The lyrics are a little something like: “Oh Scott Sinclair oh he is so wonderful when he scores a goal

“Oh it’s beautiful magical when he runs down the wing he is fast as lightning

“It’s frightening and he makes all the boys sing….. Der Der Der”

We have absolutely no idea if the new ditty will catch on and become a crowd pleaser in the East End of Glasgow – but the initial reaction seems to be good.

What do you make of it?
