Video: Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas Shows His Class With Goal v Sunderland

Cesc Fabregas continued his run in the Chelsea side this evening and capped off his resurgence for the Blues by coming up with a sumptuous finish against Sunderland.

The Spanish World Cup winner has spent most of the season so far on the bench under new manager Antonio Conte, but starts his third consecutive Premier League match tonight against a stuffy Sunderland side fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table.

After a quite start from both sides, the match burst into life when Pedro and Willian combined to set up Fabregas, and he showed his class first time:

Fabregas has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, but if he keeps playing like this, surely the club’s hierarchy won’t allow it?

And is the Premier League title slowly but surely heading back to West London?
