The Scotland international was his busy, creative self in the first half of the Premiership fixture away to Partick Thistle, and he provided the perfect assist for team-mate Stuart Armstrong just before half-time.
But setting-up goals is all well and good but scoring them is Griffiths’ currency and he came out for the second period desperate to find the net.
And after Armstrong scored his second to make it 2-0, Griffiths robbed Thistle’s Adam Barton of the ball inside his own penalty area, and proceeded to swiftly turn and curl the ball into the top corner:

There was just 16 seconds between Thistle’s kick-off and Griffiths scoring – and Partick manager Alan Archibald will be absolutely furious with the defending.
But despite playing second fiddle to Moussa Dembele for most of this season, that was Griffiths’ 10th goal of the campaign. How many will he have by May?
