Video: Man Utd Denied a Clear Penalty After Joe Ledley’s Obvious Handball

Manchester United were denied a clear penalty in their Premier League fixture at Crystal Palace this evening – and had a perfectly good goal disallowed just moments later.

United had taken the lead through Paul Pogba’s close-range finish just before half-time, but James McArthur levelled things up just after the hour mark.

However, United upped things a gear, and started applying pressure to the Palace penalty area, and pretty much every single United player thought they had been denied a stonewall spot-kick when Joe Ledley cleared the ball with his arm from a corner:

If the handball incident wasn’t galling enough, it appears both Rojo and Juan Mata were both onside as they combined to put the ball in the net, but the linesman had flagged for offside.

If these decisions cost United a place in the Champions League come May, you can bet Jose Mourinho will be talking about it.

What do you think of the incidents?
