Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo somehow managed to get away with another two-footed tackle on an opponent this evening, a little over a week after a similar challenge at Everton.
The Argentine defender is enjoying probably his best spell at United, with Jose Mourinho consistently deploying him at centre-back with Phil Jones, but he definitely deserved a red card this evening at Selhurst Park.
Rojo’s tackle last weekend on Idrissa Gueye during the 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park caused something of a media furore but it seems the defender hasn’t learned his lesson.
Playing at centre-back again this evening against Crystal Palace, Rojo went flying in on Wilf Zaha – and his dangerous, two-footed lunge could’ve easily seen him handed his marching orders:

Now, whatever way you look at it, that’s worthy of a red card, but for some reason Rojo only collected a yellow.
Why is he tackling so recklessly?!
