Video: Manchester City’s Bacary Sagna Takes On Table Pong Christmas Challenge

With youth and athleticism on his side you’d fancy a Premier League footballer to beat the kitman at any physical challenge.

But this was not the case at Manchester City this week.

Festive Cheer

The club have been getting right into the festive spirit on their official YouTube channel in recent weeks.

Yesterday, self-proclaimed ‘Grinch’ Fabian Delph gave his reaction to Christmas telly adverts.

Table Pong Challenge

And today, they’ve went for a festive game of table pong as Bacary Sagna took on legendary City kitman Chappy.

The contest was declared Team Elf (Sagna) vs Team Santa (Chappy).

And the old pro proved he still has what it takes to compete with the young guns as he gave the Frenchman a real showing up in this contest.

You can check out how they got on in the video below:

Up next for City

Sagna and Co will be back in action on Boxing Day when they travel to basement boys Hull.

Pep Guardiola’s side go into the game on a high after coming from a goal down to beat Arsenal 2-1 on Sunday.

That handed them their first back-to-back league wins since last month, however they still trail leaders Chelsea by seven points going into the turn of the season.
