Video: Manchester City’s Fabian Delph Reacts To Christmas Adverts

Fabian Delph admits that he was once a self-proclaimed Grinch when it came to Christmas.

But the Manchester City midfielder insists that all changed with the arrival of his two young kids.

Mr Christmas

Delph now sees himself as ‘Mr Christmas’ when the festive period rolls around – and reveals things get pretty hectic around the Delph household on December 25.

This week he was interviewed by Man City’s official YouTube channel on all things Christmas.

And he was asked to review some of this year’s festive telly adverts.

And you can’t help but feel there’s still a little bit of Grinch inside him with his less than enthusiastic responses.

You can check it out in the video below:

Delph’s future

Delph’s future at the Etihad remains unclear having not played at all since August, though his season has been blighted by injury.

Manager Pep Guardiola has remained tight-lipped over the midfielder’s future.

But there’s been plenty of speculation of where he might end up, with the Birmingham Mail reporting that Newcastle and West Brom are among the clubs interesting in signing him.

Up next for City

Manchester City are back in action during the Premier League’s Boxing Day action when they travel to basement boys Hull City.

City go into the game on the back of two straight wins, including their 2-1 victory over Arsenal on Sunday.
