Video: Scott Sinclair Returns to Celtic Starting XI With Slick Goal v Partick Thistle

Scott Sinclair returned to the Celtic starting line-up this evening against Partick Thistle and wasted little time in showing supporters what they’ve been missing.

The 27-year-old winger has been undoubtedly one of the Hoops’ brightest and best performers this season, but has been out injured after suffering ligament damage in the defeat to Barcelona last month.

He was given some game time from the subs bench in the win over Dundee at the weekend, but Sinclair was deemed fit enough to start tonight’s Premiership clash at Parkhead and it took him just 16 minutes to get on the scoresheet.

The Thistle defence might have switched off somewhat, but there’s no denying the quality in the finish:

Not a bad goal at all, eh?

With Sinclair looking in ominous form ahead of the packed festive period, does he now looks certain to start against Rangers on New Year’s Eve?

And how important a player is he generally for Celtic now?
