Video: Sergio Aguero’s Red Card Tackle on David Luiz Was Absolutely Horrific

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was sent off for a late tackle on Chelsea’s David Luiz this afternoon – and, upon reflection, he could be looking at a severe ban.

The Premier League clash at the Etihad could well go a long way to deciding where the title ends up in May,and Chelsea put down a serious marker by winning 3-1 in City’s backyard – their eighth consecutive league victory.

In the closing moments of the game, Chelsea were content to see the game out 3-1 but it seems Aguero was looking to leave his mark on someone, specifically Blues centre-back Luiz:

When you watch it back, it could have easily broken Luiz’s leg and there’s absolutely no doubt that Aguero was looking to cause damage.

Several years ago, Aguero was accused of stamping on Luiz but escaped a ban. It seems he still really doesn’t like the Brazilian international.

Forget a ban, we reckon Aguero should be looking at six months in jail for that tackle today! What do you think?
