Video: Theo Walcott Tells Bacary Sagna to Bring Back His Shocking Old Haircut

Theo Walcott was either a big fan of Bacary Sagna’s old haircut – or he was trying to mess around with his former Arsenal team-mate.

The pair squared off against each other yesterday as the Gunners travelled to the Etihad to play Manchester City.

Walcott started the game while Sagna had to settle for a place off the bench, but they managed to catch up post-match after City ran out 2-1 winners.

You’d expect the usual things to come up; how you keeping, how’s the family and what have you got planned for Christmas? But Walcott produced a funny comment when he asked Sagna to bring back his old dreadlocks.

In case you’ve forgotten what Sagna looked like for the majority of his career:

The Frenchman got rid of his iconic barnet last year, opting for a baldy before growing some of it in over the last year.

But Walcott obviously isn’t on board with the hair choices – telling Sagna he should “go back to what it was like” as they caught up in the Etihad tunnel after yesterday’s game (fast forward to 12:38 for the meeting):

To be fair to Sagna, he disagrees with Walcott. And we’re not even sure if the Arsenal man was being serious. Surely he can’t be?
