Usain Bolt unexpectedly called into MUTV after Manchester United‘s win over Middlesbrough this afternoon – leaving the show presenter and pundits seriously confused.
Jose Mourinho’s United side managed to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the final five minutes of their Old Trafford clash, with Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba grabbing the goals.
It had shades of a Sir Alex Ferguson team as they got the job done at the death after appearing to be heading for a defeat or draw.
United fans would have been delighted with the way the three points were won – but did anyone really expect the world’s fastest man to be that happy he’d phone in the club’s MUTV post-match show? Well, that’s what happened.
Presenter Mandy Henry was joined by Gordon McQueen and Lou Macari in the studio when they got the call from Usain, but she definitely didn’t buy that it was the Jamaican sprinting legend:

It was pretty difficult to understand Bolt given the dodgy phone connection, but Henry, McQueen and Macari look so uninterested it’s hilarious.
So Bolt had to confirm that it was indeed him who phoned up, taking to Twitter to say:
Come on lad of course it was me on @ManUtd TV just now

We’re not surprised Henry was quick to apologise for failing to recognise it was really him on the other end of the line:
Sorry Usain – we didn't think it was you! Enjoy your celebrations in Jamaica & call again after West Ham on Monday night! https://t.co/64hfB6l5Gk

As for McQueen and Macari – they probably still don’t realise it was Bolt on the phone.
